We created a light, bright and welcoming space for the Morley family to make lifelong memories together.
It wasn’t long after purchasing their three-bedroom, semi-detached home that they found out a baby was on the way. They loved the area and didn’t not want to deal with the hassle of moving again. After much consideration, they made the decision to extend the property with a conservatory-style extension to harmonise the gap between their outdoor and outdoor area.
The Morleys visited one of our showrooms to gather inspiration for their living space. With an open-plan kitchen diner in mind, they wanted a practical space to cook while they keep an eye on their son and watch him play. They also wanted to create a room that was full of natural light so we kept this in mind when designing their dream living space.
They were impressed with our 3D design software which showed them exactly how their glass roof orangery would look on their existing property, so there were no suprises. When they were happy with how it looked, we began the process of obtaining the relevant Building Regulations approval. The orangery took just 6 weeks to build.
When the Morley family have guests over, the space really impresses. Many of their friends have commented on how it has a luxurious feel of an extension. One of our favourite additions is the sliding patio doors because they give the parents an unrestricted view of their son playing outside while they cook. We also used intelligent glazing to control the temperature to stop the space from overheating in the warmer months.
