EXPERIENCED IN-HOME SALES CONSULTANT

We are always looking for sales professionals who can flourish within a very unique direct sales environment. We are looking for talented individuals both from within and outside of the industry.

Eden Windows, the leading installer of bespoke orangeries, conservatories, garden rooms, glazed extensions, living spaces, and aluminium windows and doors throughout Kent, is expanding its Sales Operation and seeks talented sales professionals to join our team.

As a Sales Consultant, you will be working out of our modern showrooms, meeting customers on a private appointment basis, and utilising the latest presentation tools to design and deliver their dream living space. With our high-volume marketing strategy and excellent reputation, you will enjoy a constant stream of expertly qualified appointments.

Role Responsibilities

  • Attending qualified appointments in customers’ homes and online, listening to their requirements, and offering the latest and most innovative home improvement products.
  • Meeting homeowners and helping them create their dream living space using our unique design software and product range.
  • Building effective relationships with customers and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Advising on issues like planning and building regulations, with full training provided in these areas.
  • Taking ownership of designs from concept to creation and working flexibly to visit new and existing customers.

WINDOW & DOOR FITTER

This is an exciting opportunity to join Kent’s leading home improvement company as an experienced fitter, offering great earning potential and continuity of work. With exciting times ahead and increasing demand, we are continuing to expand our installation teams in the Kent area.

To be considered for the role you must have:

  • Previous quality fitting experience
  • A passion for delivering excellent customer service
  • Be a good communicator
  • Be self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Clean UK driving licence
  • MTC Card

As an installer you will join a busy team reporting to the Installations Manager, and responsible for undertaking installations, ensuring an excellent quality service is achieved on all window & door installations.

CONSERVATORY & WINDOW FITTER

Due to continued growth we have several full-time positions available for experienced Conservatory Fitters and Window Fitters.

At Eden Windows, it is important to us that we deliver an exceptional service to our customers. To achieve this, it is vital that we have teams of Window fitters and Conservatory Fitters who are quality focused, experienced and passionate about providing excellent customer service.

In these customer facing roles, you will be expected to maintain and strength the Eden Windows Brand and reputation and provide our customer with an excellent fitting experience.

This is a great opportunity to work for a high profile, top quality, fast moving and forward-thinking business. We provide competitive rates of pay, opportunities for regular work, reliable, on time payments and immediate starts.

To be considered for both these roles you must have:

  • Previous conservatory or window fitting experience; preferably with experience of fitting orangery’s
  • A desire and determination to ensure all work completed meets the high-quality standards our customers expect;

  • The ability to work within a team or on own initiative, you must be self-motivated and hardworking;

BASEWORK TEAM MEMBERS

Due to an increased volume of demand for our conservatories, other living spaces and many additional outdoor products, Eden Windows is currently looking to expand its basework team and recruit appropriately trained grounds specialists.

Role Responsibilities

  • You will be working on everything from completing conservatory bases to patios, small buildings and plaster works.
  • You must be able to tender work from drawings.
  • You must possess a sufficient awareness of building practices and codes and also carry out your duties in compliance with them.

WINDOW & DOOR SURVEYORS

Eden Windows are a leading installer of windows, doors, conservatories and orangeries in Kent & South East London.

We are looking for a Window and Door Surveyor who can deliver an exceptional service to our customers.

Role Responsibilities

  • Conduct window and door surveys as directed and scheduled by the Project Management Department
  • Prioritise and schedule timely surveys to the requirement of the customers and the urgency of the work required
  • Clearly communicate to the customer the purpose of the survey visit, what it will entail and how long it will last
  • Provide information, advice and guidance to all customers regarding the optimum solution to their needs
  • Identify any potential issues with the planned installation and ensure that they are documented, raised and resolved with the customer
  • Draw up all surveys in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure that all customers have prior warning wherever late attendance at a survey is a possibility
  • Provide feedback to the Project Management Team of any potential scheduling problems and any ongoing scheduling concerns
  • Where a second survey is required, contact the Project Management Team from the customer’s home in order to arrange a further appointment
  • Complete all required survey paperwork whilst attending each survey
  • Ensure that the customer is clear regarding the exact specification in relation to their completed project

About You

  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of building and planning regulations

SERVICE ENGINEER

To support our ongoing business growth, we are recruiting for a Service Engineer who can deliver an exceptional service to our customers. You will be responsible for resolving any issues our customers may have with our products after installation and you will be expected to provide excellent customer service to our customers during this process. You will take pride in your work and support the Head of Customer Services.

If you are looking for a role where you can utilise your skills, knowledge and experience and focus on delivering a high-quality service to all customers, then you could be perfect for this position.

Role Responsibilities

  • To be responsible for resolving any issues with our windows, doors, bi-folds and conservatories on the first visit
  • To provide excellent customer service whilst at customers properties 
  • To be responsible for ensuring quality work is carried out at all times 
  • To adhere to the Terms and Conditions of relevant guarantees and where possible create sales
  • To ensure that all safety procedures are complied with
  • To ensure that you adhere to and follow Health and Safety guidelines ensuring that you are at all times working in a safe environment 
  • To ensure that the finished product meets the required quality standards
  • To provide written documentation of the outcome of the visit detailing what has been done and if a second visit is required
  • Any other reasonable duty as may be required

Person Attributes

  • Previous experience in all aspects of window, door and bi-fold fitting including fitting doors and windows, conservatories and orangeries 
  • The ability to fit any miscellaneous hardware or fittings that may be required such as handles, hinges, glazing, letterboxes etc. 
  • The ability to measure sizes accurately with the relevant measuring tools
  • Excellent product knowledge  
  • Excellent attention to detail and ensuring work is thorough and complete 
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to identify cost efficient solutions to problems 
  • Good customer service skills with the ability to apply a calm and polite approach when dealing with dissatisfied customers 
  • Clean driving license 
  • Flexibility to work overtime as and when required 
  • A strong team player who works well on their own initiative with a can-do attitude 
  • The ability to demonstrate effective time management  
  • Good communication skills with the ability to communicate both verbally and written 
  • A proactive approach to work with the ability to prioritise and manage own workload
  • A self-motivated and confident individual who has a can-do approach to work with the ability to get the job done in the required timescales 
  • A willingness to undertake further training with the ability to implement learning into your daily work
