The UltraSky contains a rectangular shaped double ended Rooflights and is supplied in widths between 1000-2000mm and lengths varying between 1500-4000mm. The purpose of the design was to maximise views by eliminating the normal obstructions you would associate with most roofs and it has most definitely succeeded at doing that. The bars that are present in the UltraSky are slight and just one of the many reasons why it exudes elegance in every way.

The most common complaint levelled at home extension is that they become overly hot in summer and inhabitable during the winter months. The UltraSky puts paid to such issues as the standard of thermal efficiency it provides is unparalleled. It has a typical U Value of 1.4 W/m2K when using a 1.1 glass for a 1000mm wide x 2000mm long rooflight. It also includes a thermally broken ridged body in aluminium and contains a low profiled eaves beam and insulated bars to further enhance energy efficiency.

Each roofing solution comes available in High Performance low ‘e’ – 24mm argon filled double glazed units with self-cleaning, solar reflective active roof glass. You also have a number of colours to choose from: blue, aqua, bronze or neutral/clear. Whichever colour you select you’re assured that the glass will limit heat loss and cut noise pollution.

Because of its unique and innovative design there is no need for a chunky roof ridge which means that a huge amount of glass can be inserted to maximise light transference. The UltraSky roof lantern also comes in a variety of custom-built rectangular sizes ranging from 1m x 1.5m to 2m x 4m and is surprisingly inexpensive for what you get. If visuals are of paramount importance to you then the UltraSky will most definitely tick all the necessary boxes. You’ll also be amazed at just how much light flows through the design and reaches the inside of your living space, not to mention that the views it offers are hugely captivating.

Traditionalists will be pleased to know that the UltraSky roof can be supplied in a classic white UPVC finish or if you prefer aluminium then you can also opt for white or Anthracite Grey and Satin Black. You also have the opportunity to have the internal lantern roof coated in white or Satin Black or Anthracite Grey, whatever best complements or contrasts with the appropriate room.
