Perhaps you’re planning to enjoy a meal out somewhere for Valentine’s Day, but if not there’s absolutely nothing wrong with staying in and rustling up a delicious dish for you both that will tantalise the taste buds.
Lovebirds that are opting to revel in romance from the comfort of home can very easily turn their home setting into a love-filled love shack using their windows and doors, showing the windows and doors themselves some love too in the process.
Ok, we know it’s a bit of a cliché, but for many women Valentine’s just wouldn’t be the same without some fresh smelling roses (take note fellas!).
Get a nice vase to display them in or create your own flower arrangement and pop the vase onto the most prominent window sill. A scattering of rose petals around the house will also earn you extra brownie points from your partner and the sensational smell alone will drive their senses wild. Add a few fairy lights too to set the mood.
It might not be long since you took down your Christmas themed door wreath and if your door is looking a bit bare, the good news is that you can buy various Valentine’s inspired door wreaths.
Do an online search for ‘Valentine’s Day wreaths’ and you will find options crafted from wood, fabric and plastic typically using a red/pink/white colour scheme. If you think you’re skilled enough why not try making one of your own.
Red is the colour of love and nowadays you can buy lots of replacement residential doors in this most vibrant colour – the days when you could only buy replacement doors in black and white are long gone!
It is admittedly a little too late to have a red door fitted by Eden Windows in time for this Valentine’s, but you can make a head start for 2019 by investing in a red coloured Solidor, timber door or composite door now.
The attachment you have to your home will deepen even further once you have one of our lovingly crafted doors added to it and it’ll make future Valentine’s spent there even more romantic.
Our full door range can be explored here.
