An Orangery With Bi-Folds; The Perfect Combo

Summer is edging ever nearer and householders in the local area are well and truly gearing up for it if the amount of orders received at Eden Windows over the past weeks is anything to go by.

Our teams of fitters are rushed off their feet completing projects across the eden as the two images displayed demonstrate, with there being particularly strong demand for home extensions, or in this case an even more luxury addition; an orangery and bi-fold doors combined.

The first picture highlight the initial placement of the bi-fold doors portal frame in grey, whilst the other shows the installation of the bi-folds prior to the application of the orangery roof.

It is a fantastic idea to integrate bi-folding doors into the orangery as it will supply an efficient gateway between the extension and the back garden.

The doors can be released with the minimum of effort and in just a few seconds which is exactly what you want when you get the urge to go outside in a hurry.

The generous panes of glass inserted into the bi-fold frames will enable considerable amounts of natural sunlight to force their way into the living space, helping make it feel spacious and inviting during the day.

Offering multiple options in terms of openings, whether left fully ajar or half closed, bi-folds will also aid your efforts in terms of ventilating the orangery, or a conservatory if that’s your preferred form of add-on.

Opening out your home to the outside world over the next few months will provide a wealth of opportunities as there’s few finer places to eat lunch, breakfast or dinner than in an outdoor environment.

If you’re looking for a similar kind of installation or you like what you see, then visit our Medway showroom or give us a call.
